Enrolment Planning 2023

To assist with enrolment planning for 2023, please advise the office via email:  wembley.ps@education.wa.edu.au, if your child will not be returning to Wembley PS in 2023.

Please include the name of the school your child will be transferring to.

2023 Class Placement Requests for Consideration

Towards the end of this term, staff will begin establishing classes for 2023.

As part of the process, students are asked to complete socio-grams to include the names of four friends, and four peers they work well with.   Staff endeavour to ensure at least one named friend is placed in a class with them.

In line with the Class Placement Policy, parents are invited to email the principal, Tamara.Doig@education.wa.edu.au with class placement requests based on educational reasons only.  All parent submissions, received by Monday 21 November at 8am, will be given consideration but will not automatically be accommodated.

Please note, specific teacher requests will not be considered.

Jump Rope for Heart

Jump Rope for Heart kicks off this term at Wembley Primary School!

Jump Rope for Heart is the Heart Foundation’s primary school skipping challenge that helps kids move more, have fun and raise funds for lifesaving research and programs.

This year is the 40th year of Jump Rope for Heart! To celebrate this milestone, we’ve got an audacious goal to see our student Heart Heroes at Wembley Primary School; to log 40 hours of skipping throughout the program!

Register your child online, so they can receive the full benefits of the program and participate in online fundraising, simply follow this link to get started.

Students will be skipping throughout the term in PE lessons and during lunch breaks, during this time you can share their online fundraising page with family and friends to help raise money for this great cause.

We will hold our school Jump Off Day on Friday 9 December 2022, this will mark the end of the program and is a chance for everyone to come together to skip and show off their newly learned skills.

Thank you for supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program!
