MS Readathon

Wembley Primary School raised a whopping $16,676 for this year’s MS Readathon and were recently awarded a plaque to celebrate our achievement of “Top Fundraising School in Australia” for the second year running. We had 168 students participate and read just over 1800 books in the month of August.

Thank you once again for all your efforts and donations to provide support and help raise awareness of the challenges faced by those living with a neurological condition.

Uniform Donations

We are still collecting old school uniforms to send to kids in South Africa.  A box has been placed opposite the library (near the recycling area) for families to place any old uniforms in.  Please ensure there are no holes, some stains are okay.  We are also collecting old stationery that you no longer require, please place them in the same box.

Warm regards,

Nat Ramsay

Uniform Coordinator

Picture Plates Delivery

The boxes containing the picture plates have been separated during transit from NSW and are arriving at different times.

Plates are being delivered as they are received. This means some children in a class may receive them before others.

Please be patient and we will endeavour to have plates distributed by next Wednesday.

If you are going on holidays before this time please email gctick@hotmail.com to arrange collection.

We thank you for supporting the P&C and for your patience.
