I look forward to working with Tyler and Ben as they step into their roles in Year 6. Our complete student leadership team including prefects and captains will be announced at the student leadership handover assembly next Tuesday 29 November at 2:40pm. Families are welcome to attend.

We need your help for the WFFD Braiding Stall.
So far there are only 2 people to run the stall from 3-7pm. We need more braiders!
These can be Year 6’s, older siblings, parents – anyone who can braid (the standard French braid and Dutch/inside out braid).
If you can assist, PLEASE sign up to the roster using the link https://signup.com/go/ovMKDND
Many hands make light work.
Thank you so very much.
Do You Love Ponies?
Then sign up to help take payments for the pony rides on Rutter Park at the Wembley Family Fun Day on Saturday 26 November.
We only need 2 volunteers per shift from 2.45-7pm.
Payments will be taken via Square reader (card payments) and cash.
Please head to https://signup.com/go/fSkwVJy to grab your spot now.
All of the year groups have had enormous fun creating hampers for the Wembley Family Fun Day. And what awesome hampers they are!
From summer school holiday fun to movies to BBQs to tech packs, there’s a hamper for everyone. Plus the Year 5s decided to do not one but four hampers, all dedicated to different kinds of board games.
These fabulous hampers can be won via the WFFD raffles which are now live on Qkr! with prizes ranging in value from $140 – $1000!
Tickets for the majority of hampers are $10 each, with the exception of the four Year 5 hampers which are $5 each.
Winners will be drawn at the WFFD at 6pm this Saturday 26 November and will be contacted.
Wembley P&C Family Fun Day – Leave Your Car at Home
The Wembley Family Fun Day is THIS Saturday! Who’s getting excited?
We all want the day to be fun-filled and exciting but we also want everyone to be safe, that’s why we are encouraging those attending to leave your car at home and walk, ride or scoot to the event instead.
Remember to always wear your helmet when riding or scooting, look left & right and be clearly visible to other road users.
Let’s make the WFFD 2022 the safest Wembley Primary School event yet!
Our WPS Canteen will be at the WFFD this Saturday with our line of top quality home made provisions including maple & pink peppercorn lavosh with cheese, jams, summer spritz garnishes, relishes, cookies and maple nut granola.
Many products are gluten free.
Our new Christmas ham glaze will be making a debut as will our pickled blueberries and delicious cucumber dill pickles, along with some great relishes for turkey and baked ham.
Best of all, our Wembley-famous spicy sweet tomato relish is in full production!
These treats make great prezzies for the food lovers in your life! Sneak a jar or two into your hampers, knowing you’re doing a good deed in helping our school raise funds for improvements, for future generations.
Can you HELP?!
We know there is an abundance of call out for volunteers at this time of the year and understand everyone’s time is tight.
Please, if you can spare an hour to help out selling our fine products at the WFFD on Saturday 26 November, please sign up here for just an hour-long shift.
We also still desperately need help in the canteen serving our kids, daily. We have many shifts to fill, and you will be elevated to Rockstar status the moment your kids see you behind the counter. And did we mention how much fun it is?!
Please sign up here , or please consider Gifting a Shift via QKR! By doing this, we can employ a casual staff member to cover a shift.
Thanks WPS Community!
